The Opportunity

Mighty Networks has outstanding Sales and Customer Success teams and an incredible organic flywheel that together help our customers (“Hosts”) to find, choose and succeed in running their communities and courses on our platform.

We currently use Hubspot as a CRM, data repository, and email marketing tool, with our Sales, Success, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Advocacy, Product, and Engineering teams all using the platform.

We want to take our use of these systems and data to the next level and make it transformational for our business and our Hosts’ experience, connecting the dots between all parts of the customer journey and between our internal teams.

To that end, the Business Operations Analyst will have a critical role in optimizing our revenue generation processes and supporting our Marketing, Sales and Success teams.

This is an incredible opportunity that will require strong systems thinking, an analytical mindset, attention to detail, and a relentless drive to optimize how we work together across teams at Mighty to best serve our fantastic Hosts.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Own Mighty’s Hubspot systems and data, working with teams across the company, independently and with the support of any external partners, to make sure the platform supports their processes including:
    • Proposing, prioritizing and executing on new projects, incorporating feedback and requests from stakeholders across Mighty
    • Establishing, maintaining and documenting standards and systems for clean data input and data flow, including creating and troubleshooting automations and workflows
    • Being accountable for data quality and hygiene
    • Being the person responsible for addressing questions on Hubspot and training other team members in how to use Hubspot effectively and efficiently
    • If applicable, managing Mighty’s relationships with third party Hubspot consultants, including communicating requests and reviewing work
  • Build, manage and draw actionable insights from reports and dashboards on our Sales Pipeline, Customer Health, Marketing Funnels & Attribution and Email Campaign Data, in conjunction with other stakeholders and team leaders.
  • Work with our Analytics team on understanding how to best organize data across Hubspot and our business intelligence platform, Looker.
  • Share frequent, proactive updates that show how we’re tracking to our goals and suggest and implement changes to strategy.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders and priorities, aligning them based on overall business goals. Your work will require collaboration across various partners and leaders across our Sales, Success, Marketing, Finance, Analytics, Advocacy, Product, and Engineering teams.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, streamline customer lifecycle management, and drive operational efficiencies
  • Work closely with senior leaders at Mighty to support in achieving their organization’s goals and ensure close collaboration and alignment.

This role will report to the Senior Manager of Strategic Finance.

Qualifications

You are coming to us with:

  • A proven track record in project management and establishing and improving business systems used cross-functionally and requiring collaboration with leadership from multiple teams. You can make connections between different strategies and parts of the organization in a way that drives stronger outcomes for everyone. Ideally, you have experience supporting Sales, Marketing and Success functions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Expertise in Hubspot, including setting up and troubleshooting automations, workflows and custom objects. Bonus points for getting an organization onboarded to Hubspot, and training others in Hubspot, as well as for any relevant Hubspot certifications.
  • A strong analytical and insights background, including experience in data reporting and dashboarding. You are able to find stories in the data. You can analyze the numbers and succinctly communicate what you’re seeing and why it matters, in presentation or verbal form. You are able to leverage this data to flag opportunities and risks and to support business decision-making and forecasting. Bonus points for experience with the Looker business intelligence platform.
  • Literacy in sales pipelines and processes, marketing funnels and attribution, and associated metrics.
  • Experience operating independently with excellent push communication on project statuses and results. Your executive communication skills are top tier.
  • A detail-oriented mindset and willingness to get into the weeds on data hygiene and maintenance.
